A little more about Deborah: 

Dr. Deborah (Selle) Beagle is the Director of Student Activities in District 128 at Vernon Hill High School and a member of the Illinois Director of Student Activities leadership team. She is married to Tim Beagle, Science Department Chair at McHenry High School, and mother to Braiden, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin Madison, and twin girls, Alison and Katelyn, seniors at Wilmot Union High School. Debbie is a cancer survivor and thriver after being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in June 2021. She enjoys collaborating, learning from others, and sharing her experiences and knowledge with other educators and anyone fighting cancer. She is #BeagsStrong (her cancer-fighting slogan), and at the end of the day, she wishes for everyone to have no worries #HakunaMatata (theme for her cancer journey to stay positive).
